Religious Freedom & Sacramental Rights

At 963 Tribe Church, all sacred plant sacraments are used solely as expressions of our sincerely held religious beliefs. Our practices are rooted in Shipibo lineage and carried out through devotional ceremonies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our church operates under the protection of the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). RFRA requires the government to demonstrate a compelling interest and use the least restrictive means before burdening the sincere religious exercise of a faith community.

Federal case law affirms these protections:

  • Gonzales v. O Centro (2006) – Protects sincere religious use of Ayahuasca under RFRA

  • Church of the Holy Light of the Queen v. Mukasey (2008) – Confirms RFRA protection for Ayahuasca churches

  • U.S. v. Boyll (1991) – Confirms sacramental plant use is protected for all sincere religious practitioners

963 Tribe Church does not provide medical services or therapies. All ceremonies and sacraments are strictly religious in nature. Participation includes spiritual preparation, screening, and sacred agreements as part of our devotional practice.

963 Tribe Church is a 501(c)(3) faith-based religious organization recognized under 508(c)(1)(A). All ceremonies, sacraments, and gatherings are expressions of our sincerely held spiritual beliefs.
